2024 was a wild year, marking the fourth anniversary of HNGRY Trends this past fall, just in time for the second annual HNGRY Summit. The event was a dream of mine come true– to host conversations and experiences spanning the entire food ecosystem, something we seldom see at industry conferences. Similarly, you’ll see a handful of food predictions this year from the likes of NYTimes or Substack writers but most of these feel like gut predictions lacking real analytical rigor.
