Over the past month, Iโ€™ve been experimenting with two metabolic health platforms in an effort to stay ahead of the latest #personalizednutrition trends. Those two products are Zoe and Stelo, the latter of which I will cover this week and the former next week. Stelo is the first over-the-counter (OTC) continuous glucose monitor (CGM) from Dexcom ($DXCM), a publicly traded biotech company that has historically catered to the type 1 and type 2 diabetic population on insulin. This technology, combined with FDA approval last March, has opened continuous glucose monitoring to anyone diabetic or non-diabetic over 18 who is curious about the impact of their diet and lifestyle on their blood sugar levels. Since its launch last August, Stelo has attracted 140k+ users via its D2C website and newly launched Amazon storefront. Each order comes with two 15-day sensors for a total of $100.
