Last week, Nestlé, the world’s largest food company bought Freshly, the largest pre-prepared subscription meal service, for $1.5bn in cash and earn-outs. This marks a milestone not only for the pre-prepared meal space, but also the personalized nutrition market projected to reach $50bn by 2025.
