Last week, former Whole Foods Market leaders John Mackey, Walter Robb, and Betsy Foster launched the flagship location of their latest Love.Life startup in El Segundo, California, just south of LAX. The former 45k sqft Best Buy store has been transformed into a hybrid health clinic, wellness center, gym, and cafe. Commonly referred to as βlifestyle medicine,β the unique concept is aiming to transform βsick careβ of Western medicine towards the next generation of health that is focused on prevention as well as reversal of chronic disease without prescription medications, but rather personalized health plans. Such regimens include a wide array of dietary and lifestyle changes all offered under the single roof of integrated care that is Love.Life. From contrast therapy to hyperbaric chambers and pickleball courts, HNGRY was fortunate to get a personal tour and beta taste of the holistic health and wellness center during its soft launch.
